The primary purpose was to redefine the early childhood education provided in the Kashmir Valley. Before Aspire, preschools in Kashmir had no philosophy to guide and were teacher-centered. Many wrong practices like over-academic focus, less focus on play, and writing at an early age were in vogue at preschools. Parents were obsessive about testing, lecturing, assessing, and filling young children with information, and pressuring them to learn too much too soon. To stop the unfair practices in early childhood education, Aspire has worked hard to debunk parents’s obsession with preparing kids academically and convince the vast majority of research in early childhood education shows that these unfair practices are detrimental to
child development. The quality offered by Aspire in the field of early childhood education was remarkable. On the demands of parents, the preschool was upgraded to school under the name Aspire Heritage School on 1 July 2021.
